St Edward's CatholicPrimary School

Term 4

This week we have celebrated Easter in Reception Class. We have learnt about Jesus sacrificing himself on the cross for us in RE, had our Easter bonnet parade, made chocolate nests and took part in an eggciting egg hunt!

This week, we have been looking at the History topic 'Pirates Have Landed!'. We end the week with a dressing up day and a surprise treasure hunt. Take a look below at all the fun we have had.

This week, Year R have been looking at the book ' What the Ladybird Heard'. For our literacy learning, we drew a map of the farm that the thieves used to try and still the prize cow and labelled it using our phonics knowledge. For maths, we looked at what doubling means and learnt how to do this. We were also lucky enough to watch a wonderful performace of 'The Secret Garden'.

As a school, we celebrated World Book Day this week by dressing up as our favourite book character and took part in lots of fun activities!

Term 4 Week 1

This week in RE we have been learning about another faith - Judaism. We have learned all about the celebration of Passover and the special meal of Seder.
