We have been very lucky to have eggs with us this year from the Living Eggs Programme, where eggs are brought into school for the children to watch the eggs hatch and become chicks which live in the school for two weeks, before being returned to the company to go to their small-holding farm.
This exciting opportunity has amazed and inspired our children of all ages, who have been regularly visiting the classroom to see the eggs hatch and the chicks grow.
Here are some videos of our first hatchings (most were overnight!) and also our children enjoying the experience of having chicks in class.
