Term 4

Year 6 have settled lovely back into their learning, this term. As SATs is only next term, Year 6 have been working extremely hard in all areas of the curriculum. For this term's math lessons, our units of work will cover: Fractions, Decimals & Percentages; Area, Perimeter & Volume; and finally, Statistics. In English the children have been researching an Ancient Greek mythical creature in preparation for writing a non-chronological report before moving on to a persuasive letter based on Theseus and the Minotaur. This term's RE unit is titled 'Jesus the Messiah' which focuses on Jesus' journey into Jerusalem and Holy Week. We are fortunate to have Chance to Shine cricket company as part of our PE lessons - for the next four weeks. During these sessions the children will be improving upon and perfecting their catching, batting, throwing and fielding skills.
