Mastering Number

In Reception, KS1 and Year 3 the children have daily lessons up to 4 times a week on mastering number. This enables the children to gain a full understanding of number sense. This is a separate add on lesson to their normal maths lesson.

Money and finance week

The children worked hard on their knowledge and finance understanding this week by learning all about money in real life. They consolidated this learning by putting their learning into a real life context by predicting the profit they would hopefully make by selling their products during the school fete, where every class had a stall and took part in an enterprise activity.
