Term 4

Well what a Term 4 we have had! A huge well done to all the pupils and parents for their hard work!

We have had some amazing lessons and some even better celebration days!

World book day saw the class dress up in their favourite character outfits and take part in a shared book read.

Comic Relief raised money for those in need with Year 4 joining in wearing red.

Science Day we joined children in year 3 and 4 from across Kent in an online class and then broke off to do our experiment. We joined back with Kent in the afternoon to share our findings.

Year 4 children loved their shopping adventure to buy gifts for the Someone special event too. Such a caring class we have!

We have had lots of fun this term looking at shapes. Year 4 have explored 2D and 3D shapes looking for vertices, edges and angles.

Year 4 class have also been learning about fractions and decimals. We have been finding equivalent fractions and then used knowledge of fractions to transform them to decimals. They have also been having a go at multiplying decimals by 10 and 100.

Clever Mathematicians!

Experimenting in Science

Science

In Science this term we have been experimenting with sound.

How is sound made?

How does it travel?

Why does it do this?

The children have really enjoyed the experiments and making loads of noise!

All in the name of Science of course....
