St Edward's Catholic Primary School

Term 6

Canterbury Cathedral - Year 3 went and visited Canterbury Cathedral. We had the most amazing time exploring the cathedral and we even got to do it dressed up as characters involving Thomas Becket. After exploring the grounds, we was able to make our own stained glass window, use a quill pen and make our own badges.

To help us calm down after a busy week, we listened to stories read to us by the lovely year 5s.

We practiced for Sports Day this week, joining with year 5. We had great fun seeing who was better at the egg and spoon, ball dribble, long jump and throwing events.

When learning about reflective surfaces in Science, we had to investigate to find the most suitable material for Miss. Morris's bag - so that she could be seen clearly and not get run over!

In Science, we've had great fun showing what we already know about light.
