Term 1
We used God's mirror to talk about why God loves us and created self portraits to see how we have improved since the last time (we love looking at them in the entrance to our classroom)
We went for a walk around the school, used big chalks to draw our own maps/trails.
We made bird feeders and created Autumn pictures.
We have been recognising and describing 2d shapes. We have been using words corners, flat, pointy, sides to describe the shapes.
We went on a walk around our school and looked for signs of Autumn and Nature. We then used these and mixed paints to create art work for our display.
RE - God's World - We started off with a walk around school to look and find things that God made. We then created our own paintings and drawings to show what we had found.
We have settled into school and been having fun joining in with our fine motor games like Squiggle and Dough Disco. We have been reading the story Midsummer Night's Dream and from this have created fairies and wands, made our own wishes and bubble paintings and pretended we had magic pots to show our counting skills.
