Year R have been learning about life cycles. They had great fun matching the baby animals to their mothers and discussing how they've changed through their lives. Year R also enjoyed the story Monkey Puzzle while also thinking about the lifecycle of a frog and a butterfly.
Year R have been learning about Dinosaurs. They had an exciting workshop that allowed them to show off their scientific skills of observing closely and understanding what fossils and bones. They also built houses for dinosaurs and stick man, investigating what happened to the house in different weather types to see which house was most suitable.
Year R have been investigating the signs of autumn that they can find outside. They went on a hunt for autumnal bits and then created art with the pieces they'd found.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
