Term 6
RAILWAY WORKSHOP
In History, this week, the children were able to get the feel of being sat inside a Victorian style classroom. They enjoyed looking at the similarities between the classroom now and what it looked like through the Victorian time. Can you spot the children that wore the dunce hat?
In PE, this week, the Year 5 children were getting prepared for the SPORTS DAY that takes place on the morning of the Thursday 29th July. The children enjoyed competing in their teams but certainly shone their competitive side.
In Art & DT, this week, the children have finished planning their sculpture in their books and began shaping their sculpture using sculpting wire which they absolutely enjoyed. Next step - Clay!

Term 6
We have reached the home straight and we are certainly looking forward to the final term with this bunch of amazing children. We can't believe how quickly the first 5 terms of the year has gone. With the weather improving, we can't wait to see some fantastic work!

Keep an eye on the Year 5 class pages, through the academic term, as other fantastic events will be taking place like Sports Day and the Year 6 Production. Through Term 6, the children will also attempt their 2nd SATs Practise Paper ahead of Year 6.
