Year 4 Saxon Workshop
Thu 23 Nov 2017On 23rd November our Year 4 children became Saxon warriors for the morning. Face painted and dressed in Saxon gowns, armour or simple cloths they learnt how to grind corn to make bread, write in Runes, use pen quills to write and make a Saxon necklace.
"It was a fun morning and we learnt loads about the Saxons." said one delighted Year 4 boy whilst dressed in chain mail!

Walk on Wednesdays

Gold Games Award!
Fri 16 Jun 2017We are very pleased to receive a GOLD School Games Mark in recognition of our commitment to PE & Sports at St. Edward's School. This is an amazing result for us and we are very proud of our pupils and staff for their dedication to all aspects of school sport. Particular thanks has to go to Mrs King and Mr Crosby who give their time generously to ensure our teams can participate in a huge variety of competitions. The hard work of everyone has been rewarded. Well done everyone!
